How I first came into contact with Mail Art, whether
via the Fluxus Mailinglist oder via jas w felter, I
don't know anymore, but the internet played a role.
The first Mail Art work was '2000 violent postmen'
for the Millenium-Exhibition. The project was announced
by the Sticker Dude, I think and all contributions
were exhibited on a homepage.
The brutality of the mailmen is obvious, they had
stamped the poor girl right in the kisser.
After that lots of Mail-Art-works followed, a few
of them can be found here. His often used foodscapes,
postcards made out of food packaging, haven't been
catalogued yet. More according the art calls in which
Böhm participated can be found unter projects.
